enrique
Okay so I live far away from the United States and bought the GH4 from Adorama. Are there stuff that i should be aware off, to make sure the unit is defective or not? Because I bought the BMPCC and returned it and I'm getting paranoid about getting a defective product again. JazzBox
I think that Panasonic is a very reliable brand, just do the normal thing (shoot, control that everything is ok, that batteries life is long...) and have fun, GH4 is a very nice and easy camera to use! Andrew wrote a real great guide for using it as a cinematic camera: http://www.eoshd.com/eoshd-panasonic-gh4-shooters-guide/
fuzzynormal
I'm on my 6th Pany cam at the moment. Haven't got the GH4 yet 'kuz I went with the GM1 and GX7 for a string of documentaries that began before the GH4 was released, but the reliability of their gear (even the consumer stuff) has been decent; can't complain. johnnymossville
While it's a serious workhorse, the GH4 is the most fun I've had with a camera, ever. It's with me all the time. I got mine from Adorama as well, and their 3 Year New Leaf Camera service plan is a pretty good deal as well so I got that.
