Just give me a nice film emulation app and a cool case! IronFilm
hojomo
1440 x 1080 pixels @ 60fps for those interested Raspberry Pi Global Shutter Camera Review: High-Speed Captures | Tom's Hardware (tomshardware.com) Could see someone making a cool super 8 rig with the new sensor. The rolling shutter on the HQ is bad. Chrille

What would this new sensor's crop factor be relative to the Super 8mm sensor size?
billdoubleu
It looks to be a 1/1.9" sensor, so 6.92 crop. This would be closer to standard 8mm film than super. Only very slightly larger. This would be incredibly fun to play around with as an all manual RAW camera. As much as I love to play around with the Motion Cam app on my android, I feel so disconnected from the image without a focus ring or aperture control. Hopefully Octopus Cinema can really deliver something for these modules this year.
