Davide DB
I am looking for a 5" field monitor to use on a very light rig that I take with me on boats and in tight spaces. I usually work in full sun at sea so it needs to have very good brightness. The classic 4/500 NITS Feelworld monitors absolutely do not show up even with a sunshade. I see now several 1000 and even 3000 NITS models are coming out but they have a fateful built-in fan that starts automatically at high brightness. I would have the microphone on the cage right next to the monitor and I am concerned about the background fan noise. Do any of you have experiences of use? TomTheDP
I like my Shinobi monitors. They have low noise fan settings. Davide DB

I would say SmallHD is less reflective and more color accurate but you pay a premium for them. Atomos is the 2nd best in my opinion.
