ARRI Hi-5 (the industry standard for professional 1st ACs) just got a firmware update: The Frequency Analyzer

This new frequency analyzer function of the Hi-5 gives users visual feedback about the level of traffic across the 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum. It also allows users to navigate through the available radio channels and choose one with the lowest level of interference, helping to improve connection strength. I suppose this is a necessity when you have Arri's poor wireless track record. The WCU4 was absolutely terrible when it came to wireless performance so whatever can help the situation is good I suppose. The Hi5 is supposedly a big step up ....which it needs to be.
