Flynn
Tito, I wish you would consider some future videos where you combine modded lenses with 1.33, 1.5, 1.75, and 2 to see what kind of looks you can achieve. Also, that lens where you made the aperture purple, I wanted to see what the pics/video would look like after you were finished but I don't think you posted any. Anyway, thanks for all you do. Love the vids.

Love the vids. It's been on my plans for a while, but I want a real script instead of just random shots for these, as I'm not really testing anything, just showcasing. :P As for the purple aperture, I did very few tests before sending it away, and there was just NO WAY to compete with the orange/amber version. It's a sound that I couldn't find in the English language since it's throat based. hahaha.

Good call. I abandoned the Cinelux idea and I'm sticking with the Singer 16D for now. Bold

Grimor
Hi Tito! About your last episode of tuning up the Kowa, when do you know the Lens have to be tuned? I have the 16H and found it sharp enough but found interesting if it could be sharper though. Risky dilema. Justin Bacle

Sooo, the answer isn't the best: the only way of knowing for sure is taking it apart. If it can't be improved, you just set it back to its default. Nrubloc
Tito: It was some time ago and I do not quite remember, but I do recall a discussion thread on EOSHD and the showing of pictures with information about "focus adjustments" being made to the Kowa B&H (and presumably possible for the Elmoscope II). I did see your video in which you adjusted things for a sharper focus, and was now looking for the original discussion thread as well. Not sure if you have stored the original discussion or if you could provide a reference link, but perhaps you could. Did your previous B&H with Elmoscope II comparison video use any such focus modifications?

Sure, the original thread with the mod is this one: I hadn't adjusted any of the lenses for that episode, so that might have somewhat affected the results, yes.
