enny
Hi guys which one would you pick Kowa Anamorphic for Bell & Howell or Iscomorphot 8/1,5X - Isco-Göttingen and why? I will soon be buying and deciding between gh4 bmcc or mark 3 in January and would like tio have nice anamorphic lens Thanks
Teemu
I don't have experience on Kowa, but Iscomorphot 8/1.5x I do have. If you want small, not dual focus and dreamy looking anamorphic it's for you. But if you are looking sharp glass even in small apertures then it definetly isn't for ya! Let the images talk for themselves: Entire video shot with GH4 Helios 44-2 58/2 and SLR Magic 35/T1.4 and ofcourse that Iscomorphot in the front. I wanted and maximized the dreamy look. I love it but it's not for everyone or every video.
enny
really nice thanks for posting bit soft for my taste but relly nice look. Will get my self kowa Thanks
ken
imo, 2:1 is less meanings, not wide enough, like 16:9 with little crop. No anamorphic lens can get the best result. There are also some simulation filter accessories available if you want anamorphic looks.
