neosushi
I don't own one, but from all the videos I've seen, the NX1 seems to perform well - in good light conditions. But as an owner of a GH4, I must say that I never use autofocus in video mode. Especially with an old lens like the 20mm Pana 1.7, useless autofocus. Same with the 45mm Olympus... Maybe the 12-32 and 35-100 perform better...
Inazuma
It's not that shocking. The Canon 70d and sony a6000 with their on-sensor phase detect pixels have similar performance. Before those cameras came out, the Panasonics had the best single-shot autofocus in the biz (apart from DSLRs (not including entry level ones)). Vesku
This test is done in 4k. GH4 autofocuses very slowly in 4k and autofocus in 4k is generally not a good idea. Result may be different in 2k.
John Wendell
To me it's exciting. Advanced, programmable autofocus would already be standard if not for the rampant ludditism of filmmakers.
