At 100 no, but it is really evident the rolling shutter (all at 4k) To ax100 owner..are there any things to do to get the best out of the camera berfore everything? I have always used mirrorless..so camera may need different treatment Also..i want to understand if these things are nomral or this is a faulty copy Thanks
MrSMW
Sony AX100 camcorder? Had one for 2 seasons but only used it as a static long record unit. Didn’t really care for it because ultimately it was what it is, a small sensor digital camcorder and the image just fell apart if you tried to push it. OK in good light but otherwise…

OK in good light but otherwise… i get it for 300 euro, i wanted to have a go with a camcorder format, and for that price i tried. But at first test my sony zv1 iq seems better. Of course the ax100 has otther vantage..but i need to see all the disadvantage
MrSMW
I had the ZV1 also but the only problem with it was overheating. But then it was not intended to have the longer run times in hot temps I was using it.

newfoundmass
It should be okay in good lighting. Never heard much about it's rolling shutter being too bad. It's used by some of the pro-wrestling videographers I know and I've never noticed it being too bad.
