TJ Ingrassia Posted December 31, 2014 Author Share Posted December 31, 2014 As a follow up, I just got my GH4 in the mail and wanted to do some side by side testing with my C100 to see how well I could get them to match. While this is literally the very first test I've done with this new camera, I'm a very happy camper thus far. I'm no pixel peeper, but it looks pretty damn close to me. The only post correction was raising the saturation on the GH4 by about 20%, which I will now remedy by adjusting the in-camera profile. The video was recorded with the following settings: C100: Wide DRGH4: UHD 100MB/s, 23.98 fps, Cine D (0, -3, -4, -3, +1), Highlight/Shadow 0, i.Dynamic and i.Resolution both off, Master Pedestal 0, Luminance 0-255You can download the original 1080p clip from Vimeo to get the full effect.
