macnerd
the sigma 18-38mm f.18 doesn't have image stabilization , the GX7 has in body image stabilization, if you were to use the sigma lens on the GX7would it work just as good as if the lens had image stabilization? .. been reading such great reviews about it but its downfall is has no IS.. Inazuma
The GX7 stabilisation doesnt work with video. It works ok with photo, though not consistently
AaronChicago
If you are doing mostly handheld work go with the Panasonic 12-35 f2.8. If you can use a tripod, monopod, or any other stabilizer I'd highly recommend the Sigma 18-35. It's definitely my favorite lens.

Nick Hughes
It's a pretty heavy lens which at least helps with holding the camera steady. You have three options:-Get really good at handheld shooting-Get a lens with stabilization (Tamron just announced a stabilized 15-30 for around $1,200)-Get some sort of rig to stabilize your camera (shoulder rig/gorillpod, steadycam, monopod)
macnerd
there is no hope for that lens unless its on a tripod or something to stabilize it smh..
