Canon introduce Mixed Reality prototyping at factory for faster product development

Canon have introduced a kind of augmented reality to their factories, when a designer is evaluating a physical prototype, a more detailed CGI image reacts to his movements and gives a live CAD video feed through special glasses.

lol... canons problems are located in the blind and cynical top level management not in development. I don't think these glasses will give those guys their vision back.

Did they fix the Moire and Aliasing in those glasses? Or are the workers going to have wait another 4 years for that?

Great, Canon engineers can faster develop new technologies, only for them to be disabled in firmware by the marketing people.  Don't see the Canon crippleware mentality changing anytime soon.
