Ed_David
Saturation -1Sharpness -10Contrast -10 Not really into the Gamma Control setting yet - need to do more tests - or raising master black level. Need to experiment more.
Geoff CB
Gamma DR? Why do you like this over the previous settings?I try not to drop contrast to much, because at higher ISO values it absolutely kills the skin tones for me.My Current Preferred:1080pGamma DRSharpness -9Contrast -4Master Black Level +84KGamma DRSharpness -10Contrast -5Master Black Level +10 Ed_David
Ed_David
i haven't done a real test but to me it seems kind of weird HDR stuff going on with Gamma DR vs just lowering the high contast. Master black in resolve I find I just lower back down - doesn't give anything - but I'll try that out. Thanks for this!
Marco Tecno
Interesting topic. The settings mentioned by Geoff are clearly intended for footage to be graded afterwards. Is the same for the settings posted by Ed? What about also posting preferred settings for ooc best results? I had been suggested to use Gamma C with -5 sharpness, for this.
