Daniel Acuña
I am just going to post this here waiting for Andrew to make a proper post.Well, I must say, not really what I was expecting...I still hope the 5D mark IV is around the corner http://www.canonrumors.com/2015/03/canon-4k-camera-makes-an-appearance/
IronFilm
This isn't a GH4 competitor! Not even close. At best will be a FZ1000 competitor. Canon is disappointing again.

Guest Ebrahim Saadawi
My bet? 1999$ + 349$ EVF or something...
Liam
Probably not even an fz1000 competitor. Lens is worse, probably more expensive, guessing it won't do stills. Not gonna go to this over the fz1000 because you already have canon glass.. Though i guess it keeps a wide end in 4k
Guest Ebrahim Saadawi
oh just noticed it's not actually an external EVF just an angled LCD loup, so scratch that 400$ EVF, or maybe not, it's Canon
Oliver Daniel
Why do people on the interwebs write off a camera before they've even seen/used it? The specs of this camera might not seem that good, but no price has not been mentioned or the complete feature list. It might even have a feature where It has this feature that is featured on the camera. Hope so! arellaTV
maxotics
Why do people on the interwebs write off a camera before they've even seen/used it? Because they get tired of ignoring all the filmmakers who keep making wonderful stuff with the cameras they already wrote off?
Flynn
Why do people on the interwebs write off a camera before they've even seen/used it? For me, I have no interest in buying a lens that is the full frame equivalent of f7.6 to f15.2 in terms of depth of field. Having said that, I'm sure people will be able to produce beautiful footage with it. But I'm not gonna limit myself with a lens like that. Brother
My guesstimate is $1500-$2000 since it, with the information available today, seems to be targeted at the same market as Sony AX100 and FZ1000. I quite like the option to choose my own glass but it's still an interesting camera if they include some pro features and we don't have to wait for Magic Lantern If target market guess is correct it sure is an interesting choice of form factor.
