tommykristensen
Veydra is launching a new anamorph this sunday. If the build and quality matches the mini primes - we may well be in for a huge treat. Zak Forsman, valid and Julian
Zak Forsman
would be great if this were new lenses, not just an adapter for their primes.
tommykristensen
Yeah - adapter would suck. They don't strike me as "adapter-types" - Avery, former Schneider optics, and Matt Duclos. I cheering for S35 or a Iscorama-ish thing :)
valid
I'm just hoping it's a 2X, and not some 1.33X rubbish ;-) Zak Forsman

richg101
looks like the cheeky buggers have taken the glass from the FM Lens... The front shot looks remarkably similar to the front of the fm Julian
BrooklynDan
looks like the cheeky buggers have taken the glass from the FM Lens... The front shot looks remarkably similar to the front of the fmI doubt it's literally the FM glass. Maybe in the mock-up, but I'm sure the finished product will have custom glass. All it proves is that Veydra is using the familiar variable diopter focusing method. The view down the pipe of a Hawk V-series, Cooke anamorphic, Cineovision or JDC lenses is very similiar.
