AaronChicago
This is interesting. A guy decided to grade Man Of Steel to brighter saturated colors (ala old Superman). What do you think? jcs and andy lee
andy lee
I would like to see a David Fincher grade on it - yellow and black tones............like Dragon Tattoo valid
IronFilm
Makes a great point, I agree!I hope for Batman vs Superman they use a contrasting mix of saturated vs a darker look.

utsira
Zach Snyder is a one-note director, so the original grade is appropriate in that regard.
sudopera
Somewhere in the middle for me, I think they quite overdone it(teal and orange on steroids like Transformers).
mtheory
Snyder thinks "darker, grimmer, broodier" refers to the color palette, not the emotional tone of the film. Even if you made Man of Steel black and white, Superman was still a damn cartoon character bouncing around the screen like crazy, it undermined whatever drama was in the film. AaronChicago
The first 20 minutes on Krypton were amazing. The rest of the movie crashed and burned with Superman landing on Earth. Geoff CB and mtheory
