Less than a year of the previous generation... 11 months later on to be more precise which sounds absolutelly dizzying to me TBH.

Leaked in these exact pages almost a month ago anyway.

Now to couple these other ones too but on AF side?

I don't understand who keeps buying these things. I don't ever see anyone actually using action cameras anymore, and it's been forever since there has been any groundbreaking advancement in them.

I was watching something recently that had some VIPs walking into a venue (VIPs like the president of a country, or members of the UN, etc - I can't remember exactly) and the shot I was watching caught the side of the other cameras shooting the same scene.

They were ENG cameras with long zoom lenses (ie, the lenses were physically quite long) but they all had action cameras mounted on the top of the lenses right at the front.  At first I thought they might be little lights, like lume cube, but definitely action cameras.

In my travels I've seen lots of TV shows shot on a mix of budget cameras that you or I wouldn't shoot a home video on, let alone a TV show or ENG.  

An action camera is a pretty cheap angle in a reality TV show where they'd be trying to mount cameras in all the places.

Extreme sports use them all the time
