Marcio Kabke Pinheiro
https://petapixel.com/2025/03/02/xiaomi-wants-to-make-modular-magnetic-lenses-for-its-phones/ There is a curious thing: it is a 4/3 sensor with 100mp - but binned in 4x4 pixel, which results in 25mp images. Same resolution of the sensor that (only) Panasonic is using. Is it the same sensor? Emanuel
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted Monday at 08:22 PM Administrators Share Posted Monday at 08:22 PM That's one of the most elegant solutions I've seen for a while but it still can't quite shrug off the Frankenstein feel. The extra lens still needs to be carried around in a separate pocket and not rubbing against keys or wallets. And if I have an extra pocket I'd rather a Sony RX1R be in it. Snowfun
I’d rather have a phone inside the Sigma BF. But I bought a RED Hydrogen so what do I know… sanveer, Davide DB, Emanuel and 1 other

I have a Hydrogen too, found it languishing on eBay and thought I'd get it for fun. But it's not my daily driver.
MrSMW
I like where it's going. I have a need to have my phone with me 100% of the time. I have the need for a camera maybe less than 10% and on certain specific occasions, so would not object to carrying a small man bag or simply putting on a grip and lens for those times and not carrying a small man bag.
