Bioskop.Inc
Just a sample segment from a doc that's nearly finished.Just wanted some feedback really - what strikes you as needing change? All shot on the BMPCC (ProRes), the 54 & either the Tokina AT-X Pro 28-70 or Mir-24Password: 54http://vimeo.com/135461772 Rudolf and Julian
Rudolf
I'm on holiday and therefor had to watch the clip on my ipad. The bmpcc with 54 and tokina is a great combo! This is my favourite zoom lens with the Iscorama 54. i like the atmosphere and the colors as well. There is not much to critisize especially not from my side as I am not a pro. maybe some grain could add something to the atmo (like the vinyl crackle)? For my taste there is a little bit too much shallow depth. I' d prefer a more dirty 16mm film style. Otherwise you did a great job so far and I would really really like to see the finished doc (i am also into the music as well)!

I thought that was the case & by chance i have a version that is 2k - going to try this ASAP.Cheers Hans Hans Punk
Bioskop.Inc
Right, I tried the way Hans suggested, with 2 clips.1) Original clip, but with a lot more saturation added (170%) & a hint of Blue in Blacks/Midtones (to offset Polaroid 600 from FC) - might need a little grain added:PW: colour 2) The closing segment of doc. Lots of S16 grain added (150%):PW: s16 Hans Punk
Bioskop.Inc
Title sequence for this doc - a homage to the great Saul Bass (Psycho titles to be precise).Timelapse done with Canon 60D, Iscorama 54 & Tokina AT-X Pro 28-70mm.Going to try another timelapse, to see which one is better.PW: saul b Hans Punk
Bioskop.Inc
Pretty much the final edit, but if you do see things that make you wince or just seem bad timing or out of place - please make yourself heard (just be good to have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th...set of eyes).ThanksPW: stu Rudolf and Hans Punk

Flynn
I think the titles are very cool but why b and w when the film is color?
Rudolf
I really enjoyed it! Great work. Looking so good. And the music is wonderful.
Bioskop.Inc
Thanks guys, its been a bit of a nightmare (bands can be a bit difficult sometimes), but go there in the end!Yes Hans, the title sequence is a little too long, but we agreed on me creating a Homage to Saul Bass & Psycho - over indulgence by me, but they're cool with it. Did try to get some vistas from Cabot Tower, but my Vertigo made the footage un-usable.If you're wondering about the titles then just google "Psycho Title sequence" - they're the inspiration. Why Black, Grey & White titles with some colour footage? Well I wanted the whole doc in B&W, but I kinda lost that battle - partly due to the studio section & the final graveyard section; they just looked too good in colour.
