enny
Trying to figure this outThe metabones REDUCES the crop factor to a 1.75x. or 0..71 So now a 35mm lens will no longer act as a 100mm lens, but as 61mm. (35mm x 1.75 = 61.25mm) or is it 35 x 0.71 = 24mmMetabone website say 0.71 not 1.75 Thanks
TheRenaissanceMan
What Speed Booster are you using on what camera?
tosvus
you take The actual lens focal length * 0.71. If you want to compare it with ff you then multiply by crop factor (I.e 2x for mft)so your example 35 * 0.71 = 24 on mft. It would then be equivalent to 48 on a ff camera (24x2) Shield3

TheRenaissanceMan
Multiply your focal length by .71 to get the new "real" focal length of the lens. If you want the full frame equivalent, multiply that number by 2.88.

TheRenaissanceMan
So not all metabones have same .71 so depends which one you use for which cameraThanksThe .71x depends on the booster itself, not the camera. The Contax/Yaschica mount booster is only offered with the .71x optics, so that's what you have.
