Panasonic Price Drops?

I have been looking to pick up an FZ1000 and thought that the camera would start dropping in price since it's over a year old now, but the price seems to be holding strong. Is that normal for Panasonic cameras?

The FZ200's history looks interesting: http://geizhals.eu/?phist=810704 . Same kinda thing, dropped about 200 EUR in a year, then had a steady but slow drop (with some spikes). But three years later its still a bit more than half the original price. These a pretty solid cameras that speak to a large audience.

I think it just dropped 50 dollars cause panasonic is having a sale on several cameras.

GH4 has been £100 off all summer in the UK with cash-back. I assume £900 is way below the original price (£950 in most places after the cash-back).

Yeah, I guess it's dropped some but it's been holding steady, around $800, for the past 6 months. I figured it would be close to 5 now. Do Panasonic manufacture refurbs come on the market?
