philip page
Im looking to get Ninja Assassin for my NX1. Manly for Workflow reasons. Are there any known issues with this combo?

racer5
Unlike the GH4 which sends 10bit over HDMI, the NX1 only sends 8bit (in 4:2:2 space). In theory the ProRes from the Assassin will still be a little better than what you record to SD with it. Maybe someone who has had experience using it with an Shogun or Odyssey can speak to that. I'm curious too.
Don Kotlos
"Unfortunately, the smudging of the color takes place quite early in the pipeline because it is evident in the Odyssey recordings as well. The h.265 compression has little effect on color detail - it just adds some extra blocky compression artefacts."http://www.migueldeolaso.com/press/2015/5/24/samsung-nx1-4k-mirrorless-camera-test
Brother
dont forget that h.265 will be supported in premiere this weekendFrom what I've read, it will be available at the end of the year. That could mean December 31st since they haven't announced release date.
