AaronChicago
VLog L converted with Cineon LOG to Linear LUT. A mixture of 4K 24p and HD 96fps.Things I'm loving about VLogL: Dynamic Range, and ColorThings that aren't so great: Banding, and noise.I'm hoping that using an external recorder at 10 bit 4:2:2 will help with the latter. ntblowz, Zak Forsman, mercer and 5 others
Cinegain
No more inherent 'ah, GH4, right?'-look. The vibe's just seems more right than it ever was. Almost Blackmagic territory perhaps?Maybe those guys over at SteadXP can include 10-bit capture with their little box, lol. To my eyes the DR seems the same as the BMPCC, and BMCC. I'm dying to test it via ProRes HQ but I don't have an external recorder. I might have to rent one this week. austinchimp
Loving the colours - seems like V-Log has an inherently cinematic look. Very impressed, already I much prefer this to Sony's S-Log2. AaronChicago and CTRT

Marshal Davis
Yah V-Log color science is amazing! I personally think this is bettter than Blackmagic, closer to the realm of Alexa. This seriously reminds me a ton of a feature I just finished grading that shot on Alexa. Nice work Aaron! AaronChicago

jonpais
I must be dumb, but I don't see anywhere how to download Ver.2.3 firmware without the key provided by Panasonic. Can't anyone answer this question?
Cinegain
Well, it would be something if Panasonic themselves would tell you about it... Enough pointers in the other topic, but check your PM.
