Converge have relaunched their website, with tons of fresh DSLR video related content.
Yours truly is extremely honoured to become a guest blogger for Converge. You can read why I am so excited about DSLRs here.
The purpose of Converge is to bring together creative people, into a collective unit with a strong voice. Last year’s event saw speakers like Phillip Bloom, Rodney Charters (DP on 24), Richard Jobson and Bui Brothers as well as workshops from the likes of Apple and Adobe. Converge will run the festival again this year, details of which will be confirmed.
Based in London Converge started with Scotsman Richard Jobson, ex-punk rock singer of The Skids. Richard is an interesting guy – he went on to become a movie critic for Sky and then writer / director.
As curators of talent, Converge will take some beating.
So bookmark it, add the RSS feed, especially if you are in the UK. Converge will do a sound job of focussing the DSLR community back onto the important stuff – creativity, innovation and the big picture, it will be a fun ride and a lot of exclusive DSLR video related goings on will break here first.
Big thanks to James Stoneley and Robin Schmidt (El Skid) for making my guest spot possible.
