A guy named Paulo emailed me about this a few days ago, but unfortunately I’ve been busy! Apparently a Hong Kong guy has dismantled his 5D Mark II, removed the mirrorbox and put a PL mount on the camera for Arri primes.
No news yet if this is just a personal mod, or something which is planned to be sold en mass. I’ll update the article when I get more news.
Usually the PL mount lenses intrude so far into the mirrorbox of the 5D Mark II that they don’t mount.
