The weather sealed 12-35mm is Panasonic’s new top of the range Lumix zoom with a constant F2.8 aperture. It’s also the lens most likely to be offered with the (also expected to be weather sealed) GH3. Panasonic are in talks with Epson to provide cutting edge new display technology for the EVF in the GH3. The news comes from a recent interview with Panasonic’s Ichiro Kitao at the launch of the GF3. It was a change of tone from last year when Panasonic spoke of the GH2 as a niche camera. Now they say, it is a ‘flagship’ and ‘very important’.
The Lumix 14mm F2.5 is the smallest interchangeable digital camera lens ever made. Smaller than even the Lumix 20mm F1.7 and much lighter, it is even rather well built for a mere ‘kit lens’. Like the excellent 20mm which came with the GF1, the 14mm is bundled with the GF2 and that represents fantastic value, since the lens retails for over ÂŁ250 on it’s own.
I have just been in touch with Birger Engineering, who are developing the first ever Canon lens adapter for the AF100, with full support for AF, aperture control on the camera body, and optical image stabilisation (IS).

Here is a nice summary of what we may expect from the Panasonic GH2. The newly skinned 43rumors.com has posted some supposed GH2 specs found on a Japanese website. The Photoshop mock ups are bunk but I believe the specs themselves sound credible and very satisfying.
